On June 23, 2023, 26 emerging leaders from across South Africa, including three Corinthians members – Emihle, Tebogo, and Khutadzo – arrived at Kijk in die Pot, Pniël in the Western Cape for ministry training. The program focused on discipleship through sports, play, and fitness, with the aim of making a meaningful impact. Over 21 days, the participants engaged in team-building activities, emphasizing the importance of collaboration and teamwork.
Throughout the training, the leaders delved into various topics, such as Heart Values, Selfless Servant Leadership, Discovery Bible Study, Emotional Health, and Sport Ministry Mapping. These subjects were thoroughly explored and extensively discussed, with experiential games reinforcing the practical application of each concept.
In addition to the enriching training sessions, the team-building activities fostered strong bonds among the participants, enhancing their ability to work cohesively. The program provided a comprehensive understanding of sports ministry, equipping the leaders to create a positive influence within their communities.
