About Us

At the core of Corinthians beats a heart for people and empowerment through sport, recreation, education and creating economic opportunities, thereby uplifting communities and bringing up a generation filled with the life-giving Word of God.

Corinthians, a non-profit organization situated in La Rochelle. Our primary goal is to reach out to at-risk youth and transform their lives positively through sports, as we believe it can be a powerful tool for change. We have specific programs for young women aimed at preventing teenage pregnancies and providing support, and for young men, to keep them away from a life of crime and drug abuse.

“… put on a heart of compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience … Beyond all these things put on love, which is the perfect bond of unity” (Colossians 3:12b, 14).

Over the years, we have been blessed to work with over 3,000 young people in our community. We are honored to have accredited and recognized clubs for different sporting teams that have enabled us to reach out to even more young people. In addition, we have a blind soccer team, one of the first in Johannesburg, born out of the recognition of the misrepresentation of disabled sports in the country.

We are committed to making a positive impact in the lives of young people in our community. It is our passion, and we will continue to create opportunities that will lead them towards a brighter future.

And He said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in needs, in persecutions, in distresses, for Christ’s sake.
For when I am weak, then I am strong.
2 Corinthians 12 v 9-10
