Corinthians is a firm believer that getting involved with an organization is beneficial for both your soul and your body. There’s a sense of connection, solidarity, and strength that comes from organizing or participating in an event.
With that being said, below are six ways you can get involved
1. Get Involved & Share our Events
Keep an eye on our social media announcements.
2. Volunteer Your Time
We want to present to the community a place in which they can experience peace, love, acceptance and most of all hope. It needs to be well rounded in its function and sustainable. Ask!
3. Donate Resources
If you don’t have time to volunteer, then donate. Actually, donate anyway! Some donation ideas include donating:
- Clothes and household goods
- Stationary for our after care program
- Reading Books
- Sanitary Towel
- Seed
- Call us and ask. The needs are truly heart breaking within our communities.
NOTE: There’s DEFINITELY nothing wrong with donating money, too, this helps us give our community volunteers a monthly gift to keep them motivated to give their best and it assists us to build more centers across South Africa.
4. Shop Locally
Support our local merchandise, T-Shirts and other items which will be presented.
5. Support our Partners
These businesses/organisations use their resources to assist us in making this project viable and sustainable, by supporting them you enable them to keep up the good work they do for this organization within the community.
6. Organize an Event
OK, so maybe you don’t feel qualified (or have enough time) to organize something as involved as a music and arts festival or marathon, but that doesn’t mean you can’t team up with a few friends and organize a fun event! Think about special kids’ events at the library, car washes to raise money for our projects. Very important is that prior permission needs to be given and to have our Social Media partners assist us to gain greater awareness.
7. Want to get involved?
Your kind donation is most appreciated. May your seed which you’ve sown be multiplied.
