Fund Corinthians Africa

A Section 18A NPO in Johannesburg South. Since 2012, Corinthians Africa has used sport, education and economic opportunity to restore dignity, purpose and opportunity for young people in La Rochelle and across Johannesburg South. We reach more than 3,000 people a month. Your support keeps that going, and qualifying donations get a Section 18A tax receipt.

Why funders choose Corinthians Africa

Proven, recognised work: 2025 Black Sash Human Rights Project of the Year, 2025 Nedbank CSI Project of the Year, 2025 Nedbank Donations Partner of the Year, and 2026 SED of the Year with BASF at the Nedbank Oliver Top Empowerment Awards.

Firsts for South Africa: the country's first Blind Football League, run with Blind SA and now 7 teams and more than 90 players, and the first accredited blind football coaching course, with CATHSSETA.

Real-world innovation: C-Tech, our youth drone and technology programme, uses drones and 3D mapping for community safety and runs a free community safety app (in testing) that works on low-cost phones in six languages and uses very little data: https://ctech.corinthians.africa

Whole-person approach: every programme runs on Ubabalo whole-life coaching.

Partners you know: BASF, Nedbank, Blind SA, the City of Johannesburg, the GBVF Response Fund and Laureus Sport for Good.
